My Friend Called is designed for seniors who enjoy thoughtful, engaging, and uplifting conversations. Our calls are social rather than clinical, and are best suited for someone who can comfortably enjoy a conversation on their own.

How It Works

Choose Your Plan

Select one, two, or three conversations each week, whether you’re enrolling for yourself or giving the gift of good conversation to someone you care about.

Let's Get Acquainted

We’ll send a short questionnaire to learn about the participant’s personality, interests, and availability. It helps us get to know the person behind the plan and thoughtfully match them with a companion they’ll enjoy talking with.

Find a Time That Works

We’ll offer a few options for a regular weekly calling schedule, and the participant can choose the one that feels right for their schedule.

Meet Your Companion

We’ll introduce the participant to their companion and share everything they need to join their calls by phone or video. Conversations typically begin within one week of enrollment. From there, it’s simply time to get to know each other.
